I learned a cool tip from watching a flower video lately. It has to do with hydrangea and how it sometimes wilts and dies prematurely. You can SOMETIMES fix it by doing the following:
Dip the head in cool water for a few minutes. Then cut the stem off a pretty good amount--say 3" if you can. Then, place the stem in HOT water for a couple of hours. Usually, it will come back to life and look very close to what it was. Give it a try!
